Indore : Indore is a district and commercial hub of the Madhya Pradesh. It is situated on the banks of the River Khan and Sarawati. Indore is famous for its architectural magnificence.

Rani Ahilya Bai Holkar was a great architectural supporter and used up a lot of money on the building of several temples across the nation. The queen is taken in great regard by the people and as a tribute; her statue was constructed close to Rajwada, in the center of the city.

Indore is a host to several industries, like textile, automobile, IT etc. With latest technological developments, the city is about to turn into the IT hub of the state of Madhya Pradesh. There are several educational institutes in Indore which are among the best in the India.

Central Musium :    Central  Museum, also known as the Indore Museum, is one of the most attractive places  in Indore. It is a treat for the people who are truly fascinated by the history  of India and the high and rich culture that flourished here in the pre historic  age.

Kanch Mandir :    The  Kanch Mandir is a temple which is entirely made up of glass (kanch) and  mirrors. It is mainly a Jain temple and is a surprise in glass. It was manufactured by the  "Cotton King" Hukamchand Seth in the early 20th century. So it is also  called the Seth Hukamchand Temple.

Khajrana Temple: Khajrana Ganesh temple in Indore is a famous pilgrimage center and a devotee�s happiness. This temple, which is built by Rani Ahalya Bhai Holkar is a crowd puller in the locality. It is believed that after praying here, all the wishes will be fulfilled. Large numbers of devotees meet here on every Sunday and Wednesday to offer their reverence and prayers. 

Gomatgiri :    Gomatgiri is a religious place  of the Jain devotees. A small hill situated in charming surroundings about  10-12 km away from the heart of the Indore city. This small hill was donated to  the Jain community in year 1981 by the M.P. government. The Jain society has built  a 21 feet statue of Lord Gomateshwar which is a replica of the Bahubali statue  of Shravanbelagola. The places also have 24 marble temples with Shikhars  dedicated to 24 Tirthankaras. A dharamshala, guest house, and restaurant are situated  here.

By Air: Indore is connected with Bhopal, Delhi and Mumbai and other major cities by daily flight.

By Train : Indore is on the major Western railway and is connected with major Indian cities.

By Road : Indore is connected with Mumbai (550), Nagpur (505), Ahmedabad, Aurangabad, Bhopal, Gwalior, Mandu, Maheshwar, Omkareshwar, Ujjain, Sanchi and Vidisha and other cities with regular bus services and Radio Taxies.
