Madhya Pradesh achieved the "Best Tourism State Award" in 2012. It has Wild Protection well forested, mainly in the Vindhya-Kaimur Range, The Satpura Range, The Maikal Range and The Bundelkhand area and it being rich in flora and fauna, it have been acknowledged as the "Tiger State of the India".
